Win for Knockers

Accurate bowling by G. Enderby (6-13) and C. H. Challis (4-16) gave Knockers victory by 71 runs over a Vine XI on Saturday.

Knockers, who batted first, scored 103, due mainly to the efforts of Saunders (31), Dinnis (29) and Chase (21). G. W. Rickson took 3-21.

The bowlers were on top as soon as the Vine XI went in to bat, and no one offered any real resistance. The whole side was dismissed for only 32 runs.
