Hornsby leads the run spree
A superb century in 74 minutes by John Hornsby was the highlight of Knockers nine-run win in a thriller against Battle on Sunday.
Hornsby (103 not out) and Sims 85 (not out) carried the Sevenoaks side to 221-1 declared. The visitors slipped early on but Price (72) and Wilson (39) put them well in contention with seven sixes between them.
However, Tony Martin (5-85) and Charles Hornsby (3-50) saw the home side won by nine runs - Keith Miller taking the vital catch behind the wicket.
