Knockers foiled
Sims (41) and A. Martin (34) gave the Knockers a sound base against East Grinstead, and with Golds hitting an unbeaten half-century, the Sevenoaks side reached 186. A depleted East Grinstead side never looked likely winners, but un unbeaten 70 by Churchward steered them to 115 for 6 at stumps, C. Hornsby took 4 for 28 for the Knockers.
