Although the Knockers' bowling lacked penetration it was sufficient to restrict Bexley to 177-4. Smith (P) and Woodman gave Knockers a solid start and with skipper Martin (A) scoring a sound 40 the Sevenoaks side looked possible winners. However the chase just failed and the depleted Knockers fell 13 runs short with just one wicket in hand.
