Knockers collapse to 77-run defeat
Knockers wasted a very good fielding display by crashing to to 111 all out and a 77 run defeat at Bexley on Sunday.
With a severely depleted bowling attack the Sevenoaks side took the field with the prime intention of simply keeping the Bexley total within range.
Sims and Pearson, having their first bowls of the season did well in the first hour while Martin picked up a couple of wickets as Bexley ground their wat to 188-5 made in 56 overs.
After Miller had provided a useful platform with 33 Sims took up the challenge but Knockers victory hopes disappeared when he was given out leg before for 35 with the score at 97.
From this moment luck deserted the Sevenoaks side and the umpires were busy as the tail collapsed to 111 all out.
