Knockers salvage a draw
Incompatibles took full advantage of first knock at Hollybush Lane on Sunday when the Knockers bowlers toiled as the visitors rattled up 224 for 5 declared.
Opener Chris Leonard made 43 before falling to an excellent catch, but he did not receive the support he needed to enable the Sevenoaks side to make an assault on the daunting total.
With six wickets down for 75 runs, the situation looked bleak, but Tony Martin came to the rescue. He was never troubled in his first innings of the season, making 69 not out and showing his skills and experience as he guided the side to 156 for 9 at the close. As no other player made double figures, the Knockers were thankful to salvage a draw from a poor performance.
