Vine Old Oaks
98-7
Knockers
100-2
A good win for Knockers that Trouncey would have been proud of. Dan Turner opened things up with some excellent bowling, worrying one of the oppo batsmen in the process. Ben Cobb took 3-9 from his 4 overs which put the Oaks in big trouble. Some friendlier bowling from the remainder of the attack enabled the Vine to reach to reach 98-6 off their 20 overs.
This didn't prove too much trouble for Knockers who knocked it off in under 13 overs. Tom Cobb used the pace in the wicket nicely and even outscored Botting. Both were then retired having reached 25. The remaining runs were seen through comfortably by Seldon and Miller, after a couple of wayward shots from Cobb (B) and Turner had allowed the Oaks a consolation couple of wickets. All in all a pleasing victory.
