Match Report

This probably would have been another win for Knockers but for the weather. DT and Matt Wallis hit the Alfriston bowling all round the park but the oppo sportingly carried on in what was pretty much torrential rain. Having come off, we closed the innings on 93-0 off just 9 overs and proposed a 10 over opportunity for Alfriston to chase. However, on inspecting the wicket there was standing water present so despite the rain going, the match was abandoned, much to the delight of all tourers who were allowed to retire to the pub.
