Linden Park
248-6
Knockers
186-9
Linden Park set a challenging but not unobtainable target of 248/7 (R Prastka -68 and J Scholtz 91). A Darry (43/2) and G Miller (24/2) were pick as the Knockers’ attack.
In response, the Knockers’ top batsmen self-destructed but the middle order of Oli Boreham, an exciting 43, Dan Turner, a powerful 41, and Geoff Smith 29 fought back. Tantalisingly, a possible win came into view but then the wickets started to fall and a late rearguard action led by Paul Styles saved the day.
