Knockers
118-10
Staplehurst
119-5
In a hard fought, if low scoring match, Knockers succumbed to a strong Staplehurst side. On a slowish track, scoring was difficult throughout and after an initial collapse to 55/6, Knockers made a reasonable recovery inspired by a fluid 31 n/o by Ted Darry. The Knockers bowlers then bowled superbly well, making the home team battle for every run with especially good performances by Ted Darry 2-24, Matt Watts 1-14 and plenty of pace from Lynden and Ben. However, there were too few runs to play with and Staplehurst deservedly won.
