Vaughan and Stevens Duet
Shoreham chiefly owed their win against Knocker and Foskett on Sunday to the batting of D. Vaughan and the bowling of H. Stevens.
Vaughan, who went in first, carried his bat for a splendid knock of 56, blending caution with aggression. The home side were all out for 86, R. Stanley taking six wickets for 33.
Stevens was in deadly form with the ball and his analysis of seven wickets for 17 runs was one of his best for the season.
