Vine B win by 65
Put in to bat on a soft wicket at Greatness on Monday, but in perfect cricket weather, Vine B won an enjoyable match by 65 runs.
At lunch, thanks to Gavin, Jerdein and Shorrock, Vine had scored 107 for 1, but after Gavin was run out at 120, the remaining seven wickets fell for only ten more runs. Stanley took five for 37 in 19.2 overs, and Enderby brought off a brilliant catch to dismiss Hapgood.
For Knockers, only Enderby, who made over half the runs, attacked the bowling, and they were all out for 65.
