Knockers
82-10
Otford
83-7
Sevenoaks News, 23rd May 1957
Knockers made a promising start to their game at Hollybush Lane on Saturday against Otford and at one stage had 70 runs on the board for three wickets.
Otford's bowlers, however, were not to let Knockers score so freely and they struck back - so effectively that only another twelve runs were add. H. Dinham again did most of the damage by taking 5-26. W. Cosker 46 and H. Dinnis 17, scored all but 19 of Knockers runs.
After the loss of an early wicket, Otford settled down to play some entertaining cricket and D. Martin and L. Ellison put on 63 runs.
Again there was a collapse, this time to Enderby and Challis. Five wickets fell for 11 runs, but Otford were almost home, and won by three wickets.
