Telston win by eight wickets
After scoring 92, Knockers made a good start in their match against Telston on Saturday by dismissing the first three batsmen for five runs.
Telston, however, are a fighting side and they were not to be beaten. E. Ellis, who opened the innings, and P Gilham set about the attack of Enderby, Chase and Baker and Telston were soon storming towards a win by six wickets.
The highlight of the match was the all-round performance of Gilham. In Knockers' innings he captured 5 for 14. The top scorer was W. Andrews (26). Tompkins too 3 for 26.
