Knockers Fail
Once again Knockers failed against the opening attack of Dinham and Smith. The only batsman who in fact stood up to the bowling was Leach who batted very soundly until he was bowled.
Otford started off in reply at a very leisurely pace and Heard in particular seemed quite content to score all his runs in singles. Ellison was well caught by Cosker trying for a big hit.
Dinham arrived with sole intention of either scoring quickly or getting out and he was lucky to carry his bat for 20 very valuable runs.
Otford won by six wickets, and at the end Heard was undefeated with 19, made up of two twos and 15 singles.
