Enderby on top
Knockers beat Holmesdale by 37 runs on Sunday, due mainly to two good individual performances.
Andrews batted right through the visitor's innings for a painstaking but useful 69 runs in a total 115. The left-hander hit seven fours in a stay of over two hours. Fleming and Cotton bowled well for the home side.
When Holmesdale batted after tea they obviously intended to speed up the scoring rate. Although they succeeded in this it was only at the cost of losing wickets steadily against Enderby. Although Stanley dismissed the opening pair it was Enderby who did most of the damage in taking seven wickets for 15 runs in 11.3 overs, which took him well past the 100 wicket aggregate.
For a brief spell, Moss and Fleming indulged in some big hitting, but once they were parted the end was near.
