Cranbrook
60-10
Knockers
61-3
Sevenoaks Chronicle, 25th September 1970
Knockers finished their season with the impressive figures of eight wins, eight draws and two defeats, after convincingly beating Cranbrook by seven wickets on Sunday.
Cranbrook had no answer to bowling of Peter Ellison who bowled 15 overs, taking 6-17. Collard, the home side's opener, carried his bat for 18 but no one else reached double figures and the side were all out for 60.
Knockers batted sensibly on a difficult wicket and Mike Woodman and Ian Miller, who provided many useful opening partnerships this season, saw them to within striking distance of victory.
