Madhatters
155-8
Knockers
95-8
Sevenoaks Chronicle, 7th May 1971
Sunday side, Knockers, were forced to struggle for a draw against Madhatters at Hollybush Lane. The visitors reached 155-8 declared, thanks to a good knock of 78 n.o. by Kerby. Tony Martin and Ian Miller took three wickets apiece.
Knockers lost Ian Miller and Sims cheaply and when Martin went for 29, all hopes of victory looked dim. Cowan (14) and M. Martin (18) offered hope but in the end they batted out to draw the match with two wickets to spare.
