163-8
Knockers
164-5
Sevenoaks Chronicle, 14th May 1971
Knockers did well to restrict their visitors, Downham and Bellingham to 163-8 declared on Sunday thanks to some steady bowling by Ellison (3-36), Ian Miller (2-24) and Tony Martin.
Left to get the runs in 125 minutes, Knockers were soon in trouble at 23-3. However, Tony Martin (56 not out), in partnership with Keith Miller (22), Dick Bates (30) and Neil Cowan (32 not out) saw them home with 20 minutes to spare.
