Sanderstead
107-10
Knockers
108-4
Sevenoaks Chronicle, 5th May 1971
Sanderstead found the steady bowling of Knockers' Francis (4 for 41), Bailey (3 for 34) and Martin (3 for 23) too good for them on Sunday and they were sent back for 107 - a score which would have looked a bit thin but for a patient innings of 52 not out by opener, Whittaker.
In reply, John Hornsby and Peter Smith put on 52 for the Knockers' first wicket against a good fast attack and the visitors coasted home with time and six wickets to spare.
