Knockers' rescue act spoilt by rain
Phil Baxter and Peter Ellison rescued Knockers from a desperate situation against Downshall on Sunday. But, in the end, their efforts proved to be in vain as the match was abandoned after tea.
The Sevenoaks side has collapsed to 35-5 when the new skipper, Peter Ellison joined newcomer Baxter to take the score to 115.
Ellison completed a fine 50 before being caught in the deep but after that, Baxter took control to take the score to 148-7 declared. He was not out 54.
Loader had the wicket of opener, Moon when the score was 21 but at this stage the match had to be abandoned.
